Entry Level Designer / Draftsman

Tyler Building Systems is seeking candidates for full time design/drafting positions. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates just out of high-school or college who are looking to begin an entry level career in technology.

Applicants must:

1) Be proficient in Geometry and basic Trigonometry

2) Be proficient with Microsoft Office software

3) Have basic skills in computer aided drafting software

4) Have good visualization skills

5) Be detail oriented

6) Be creative and have good problem solving skills

7) Enjoy building and construction

Applicants who qualify will be trained to:

1) Use Metal Building Software

2) Design, Detail, and Estimate metal building systems

3) Read technical drawings and specifications

For applicants to be considered, the following must be completed:

1) An application

2) A personality profile

3) A Geometry/Trigonometry Exam

These documents can be filled out online or at Tyler Building System's Main office. Applicants choosing to complete these documents at the main office should reserve at least one hour to complete the process. Applicants should also have a scientific calculator they are comfortable using. Same day interviews will be available to anyone who travels more than 30 miles to apply.
