Job Description
Your New RoleAn average week for a Graduate Service Management Engineer could include a wide range of activities including:
Employing your analytic and process skills in the development, maintenance, and governance of the processes employed throughout all stages of IT e.g. planning, design, development, build, transition, and support;
Using your relationship management and business acumen to partner with the business to ensure IT outcomes and are in line with their strategy, priorities, budget, contracts, and the network of providers working with the business;
Contributing to the development and delivery of organisation wide process improvements;
Using your data analysis, manipulation, and research skills to help promote evidence based process improvements, observe and report on trends, perform quality assurance, and troubleshoot business process issues;
Putting your IT process skills into practice by actively managing IT Service Management processes such as Event / Incident / Problem / Change / Asset / Configuration Management;
Graduates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge specific to this role, to ensure they are able to contribute and reach their highest potential. As a Leidos graduate, you will be working on interesting and challenging projects and will take part in a range of training and development opportunities. To support you further throughout the graduate year, and your early career here at Leidos, you will also be assigned a mentor and buddy.
Qualifications
About You and What You'll BringThis role is ideal for someone who is completing or has recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline:
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Bachelor of Systems Engineering
- Bachelor of Computer Science

Additional Information
Successful candidates will be required to be Australian Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
