Job Description
Brief DescriptionUnder the direction of the Sales Director for North American Sales, the National Account Manager will drive the activity associated with the organization's key customers as well as participate in a variety of business critical activities that insure that financial and other stated goals are met. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems, generating orders and driving new product development to increase market share.
Key AccountabilitiesManagement of assigned key accounts and/or market segment activity including: orders, quotation, business development, conflict resolution, VOC, pricing to value, contract and account program administration
Collaborate with engineering team to secure new applications, increasing shipset content to meet market share goals
Understand key market and competitive trends to best implement our value proposition as well as product offerings to enhance our value proposition
Drive customer satisfaction/loyalty culture
Drive methods and tools to improve pricing and quoting initiatives
Drive customer management and contract enforcement
Develop & implement strategies for market pricing by channel, product, life cycle, etc.
Management of Critical Programs, Contracts, and Agreements
Maintain a high knowledge base on the business’ products and applications.
Work with engineering and marketing in order to capture target market share goals
Contribute in Strategic Account Planning and initiatives
Proactive communications - internally and externally.
Maintain sales activity to meet planned budget
Meet/Exceed Customer Satisfaction Goals
Qualifications
Job RequirementsCapabilities and Success FactorsB.S. in Engineering, Business, or related field
At least 7 years of sales and/or Marketing experience
Previous experience selling to OEMs a plus
Previous experience calling on design and/or project engineers a plus
Previous experience in working in aerospace for a manufacturer
Experience working with seals, bearings, and gears a plus
Previous experience using Salesforce and Tableau a plus
Able/willing to travel up to 50% of the time
