Job Description

mlcoa is an established premier national provider of independent medical opinions and specialist services to insurers, private and government employers/departments, self-insured companies and the legal profession. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person with a high level of attention to detail to join our team.Reporting to the Client Services Team Lead, you would coordinate and deliver, as a member of a client services team, a range of high quality, client focused support tasks for the provision of independent medical services.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling and managing appointments to meet customer needs and to maximise the booking rate of available medical consultants
  • Assist customers by providing informed advice on the most suitable service, and appropriate consultant specialty (and consultant)
  • Undertaking accurate preparation, maintenance, filing and scanning ofexaminee files and records
  • Administration support including archiving, scanning and filing; facilitating appointments for imaging, set up of consulting rooms and end of day office / consulting room activities
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, includingmlcoa medical consultants and staff, clients and examinees
  • Effective management of the bookings calendar to support mlcoa Darwin and the broader business achieve business imperatives
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation and professional appearance of the office

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering customer focused business processes and services
  • Experience working in a medical/legal practice or in claims/injury management (Desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and associated skills in influencing and negotiation
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organisational andprioritisation skills
  • High regard for confidentiality
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
