Job Description

Prestwick House is looking for a new team member for our sales team to help expand the sales of digital and print products to schools and districts around the country. This role is expected to proactively develop Prestwick House customer base of our flagship digital product, Vocabulary Power Plus Online. The inside sales rep will be responsible for not only sales of the product but also working with schools to demo, develop quotes, set up installation, and support users. This role requires someone who is excited to take ownership of a process and drive results. This position is a base salary + commission role in which performance is critical for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years experience of successful sales, marketing, or operational experience in a B2B or Institutional sales environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with excellent knowledge of grammar and professional writing conventions.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to manipulate data in excel, work with web-based CRM systems, and manage communication and scheduling in a digital environment.
  • Familiarity with purchasing in K12 education or institutional purchasing strongly preferred
  • Excellent customer service focus.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the sales lead for Vocabulary Power Plus Online, developing customers, identifying opportunities, and ushering them through the purchase process
  • Supports new and existing Vocabulary Power Plus Online customers through sales, demos, product setup, support, and renewal.
  • Supports sales of other products to established customers
  • Engages in proactive sales efforts via phone, email, web conference, presentations, and possible in-person visits.
  • Meets and exceed targeted sales goals.
  • Keep abreast of customer trends and provides Prestwick House management team with feedback on products and what’s going on in the education market.
  • Reviews inbound leads and opportunities to schedule meetings, demos, and rpduct
  • Track all sales opportunities through CRM Software—keeping customer and lead data up-to-date
  • Develop relationships with customers to extend sales opportunities to adjacent products.
  • Manage installation and setup of Vocabulary Power Plus Online customer sites
  • Work with CS team to manage quotes, orders, and renewals of all VPPO orders
  • Sets and meets daily, monthly, and annual goals for both activity and performance.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the K12 Education market and needs of ELA educators
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
