Job Description

The Policy Analyst to work closely with our internal team and agency to support Science and Technology Policy, and also another research and analytical duty.

Responsibilities:

US Science and Technology Policy analysis

  • Conduct daily Federal policy updates and monitoring
  • Provide analysis on national and international science and technology reports
  • Maintain good relations with related stakeholders and KOLs
  • Write, edit and proofread report materials(reports, briefing notes, minutes)
  • Plan and coordinate scheduling and logistics for industrial or government stakeholders visits

Think Tank Research Support

  • Conduct daily think tank monitoring and reporting
  • Provide analysis on national and international think tank reports, with focus on foreign relations and geopolitical issues, security and defense, and other related issues.
  • Write, edit and proofread report materials(reports, briefing notes, minutes)
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, regional and national think tanks
  • Plan and coordinate scheduling and logistics for think tank visits and overseas trips
  • Research and prepare think tank updates briefing

Qualifications

Education:University Degree in Science, telecommunication, or related public policy field.Experience:

  • Previous experience working in Science/ Technology industry is an huge asset for this role
  • Solid university or other research institution experiences on science and technology policies
  • Experience researching on government policy of ICT industry, or overall S/T policies
  • Demonstrated good understanding of S/T and ICT industry environment in US
  • Demonstrated good understanding of US political system, policy making, and decision making process.
