Our team is looking for a highly motivated Dental Insurance Coordinator/Accounts Receivable

We need someone who is professional, punctual, and a team player to work full-time in our dental practice. This person coordinates with our front office manager, clinical staff, dentist and our patients. Looking for someone with a positive and outgoing attitude!

Some experience highly recommended for this position.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

· Greeting patients

· Scheduling appointments

· Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits/ keeping track of frequency and limitations for each individual plan

· Applying insurance benefits to estimates; presentation of treatment and financial estimates to patients

· Collecting patient co-payments

· Answering questions regarding treatment estimates, account balances/payments, and insurance

· Sending electronic claims; including attachment of required documents

· Tracking and resolving unpaid insurance claims

· Processing appeals

· Posting insurance payments and adjustments

· Managing account receivables.

· Send patient account statements

· Track and send accounts to pre-collections; follow-up of pre-collections accounts and forwarding to collections when necessary

· Notify manager/practice manager of any complaints regarding account collections

· Send collection reports to Practice Manager

· Check deposit reports to make sure EFT and Insurance checks were entered correctly

· Aging reports and insurance claims follow up

· Patient's outstanding balance follow up

Hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch from 12-1pm.
