This position provides leadership, direction, training, and customer service standards to all levels of staffing that support Dining Operations. This position is also responsible for the oversight of the dining student hiring team to ensure all units are staffed, and new employees are properly on-boarded. This position requires the ability to support diverse employee needs with a broad understanding of communication styles, leadership styles, and operational commitments. Without direct authority over unit managers, this position must use influence, data and professional credibility from past experience in retail and higher education dining services to achieve compliance and results expected. All employees are expected to support CWU’s commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment.
