Job Description:looking for someone with IP experience, but also someone that can handle leading a coordination team, and running with RMA for OEM vendors. Business Objective: Describe what team does & how this project team impacts the business:Team runs the IP Backbone network for Client and also controls a Coordination team that controls site access, smart hands, RMA’s, and a site audit program. What is driving the need for this resource?:The driving need is that I need someone to run the Coordination team as 70% of their role, but can also work on IP stuff when necessary to offload the work that is happening. Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Scope:Run the Coordination team that controls site access, smart hands, RMA logistics (start to finish), and site audit program.This person should also know IP, as they may be asked to dive into IP specific problems.Develop the operational process improvement plans, and transform the improvements to scalable and automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.Anticipate potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate/minimize. QUALIFICATIONS:- Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Network operations experience while supporting large-scale network infrastructure.
- Proficient in IP network.
- Ability to work within a global team and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with limited supervision.
Top 3 Non-Negotiable Skills:IP BackgroundOEM vendor experienceCapable of running a team% Technical vs Functional:30% technical, 70% functionalNice to have skills:- Experience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Python, C, Go, etc.) and ability to rapidly learn new languages, technologies, frameworks and APIs.
- Experience in implementing/maintaining the monitoring, alerting and repairing systems for production network in a DevOps environment.
- Education Background/ Requirements: is a degree absolutely required? Background?:
- Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Years of Experience Required & in/with what?:- 2 to 4 years of IP experience
- What is the interaction level this CW will have with the team/cross functional teams?:
- This CW will interact daily with our MSP for the Coordination team, and will interact weekly with cross functional teams.
- Goals/Metrics – How will performance be measured?:
- Performance will be measured by both goals and metrics. Goals on driving improvements, metrics from the Coordination teams efficiency.
