Function Development Engineer - Autonomous Vehicle

VOLT is seeking candidate for "Function Developer” for our client in Dallas Metro. This is full-time position onsite. Must Haves:

• Experience writing testable function requirements.
• Experience with vehicle or systems-level automotive design, development, or testing.
• Proficient using Requirements Management and Systems Engineering tools.
• Programming Proficiency (Python, C, C).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively. Ability to lead projects and multitask.
• Excellent oral and written technical communication skills.
• Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic with the ability to learn on the fly and adapt to change.

• Knowledge of and/or experience in heavy truck components and systems is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with CREO / CREO View / Windchill required.
• Experience with a Phase Gate development process.
• Knowledge in the use of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools.
• Act in a professional manner in all contacts with external and internal customers.
• Demonstrate professional and successful communication skills (verbal/written) with strong, effective interpersonal abilities.
