Title: Java/Product Developer (Application Security)Location: San Jose, CADuration: 4/2021-12/2021DescriptionDay to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:We are looking for a stellar full stack developer who will be responsible for design, development and support of security tools that help release Client public facing product lines.Requirements:BSCS degree with 5-7 years of experience or an MS degree with 3+ years of experienceUp to 5 years of related hands-on product development experience with web applications is required; some experience in application security space will be nice-to-have.Strong Programming experience in Java (with Spring MVC) and Node.js, and familiarity with databases (MongoDB or Hadoop, noSQL, Oracle) is required. Knowledge of other languageslike Python is a plus.Working experience with product development teams in a continuous delivery developer role in is highly desirable. The developer is expected to be comfortable delivering in short sprints in an Agile frameworkAbility to build automation tools and REST API-s for security processes and web applicationsAbility to deep dive into data and analyze for security and fraud anomalies and develop tools for automation.Ability to clearly articulate issues and communicate in an effective and personable manner.Ability to determine risk based on context and adjust quickly to the security needs of a highly agile organizationHighly motivated developer to pick new skills as required and apply to delivery processesTentative Milestones:2020:Nov-Dec - Ramp up on Raptor and CAL platforms; Acquire access to build and compute environments2021:Jan - Feb - CAL interceptor tool POCMarch - June - Development and Testing of additional components for robust productization of CAL interceptorJuly - Fine tune product to be highly scalable;August- introduce codebase into Client frameworks;September - Security harden the product by completing security auditsOctober - Run service on pilot application flowsNovember - December - Standardize Support patterns for CAL Interceptor
