DevOps Engineer / 6 Month Contract to Hire

As a leader in the business and risk solutions industry, this client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help process and develop the next league of telematic solutions. This contract position will give you independence to solve tech and data problems of all scales. You will be a part of a team that is tenacious and eager to provide the best data to customers in more than 100 countries. The ideal candidate is experienced with Cloud technologies, containerization and using various platforms to write Infrastructure as Code. Additionally, you must be capable of using PHP for development. Required Skills & Experience

• Writing Infrastructure as Code
  • Cloudformation, Terraform, Azure Resource Templates and Ansible
• Environment containerization with ECS, Fargate and Docker
• Knowledge of SLOs and SLIs
• Continued learning of software development methodologies
• Microservices knowledge
• 3+ years of Software Engineering or Systems Administration
• 2+ years of Application or Information Security teams
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science or related field

• AWS Certification
• Experience working with teams
• Experience working on customer facing platforms

• Linux
• Azure and AWS
• PHP or Java
• CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab

• Competitive Pay: Up to $55/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 6 months with possibility of hire
