Security Engineer / $160K

They are starting with food by building hydroponic farms to sustainably grow fruits and vegetables with a focus on nutrition and flavor. The position will report to the Director of IT and Security. Responsibilities will include network security analysis, incident response, and the deployment and configuration of security tools. The Security Engineer will work with the Director of IT and Security to improve the security posture, and maintain policies, procedures, and security controls. What You Will Be Doing

• Works closely with the Director of IT to ensure all policies and procedures are being maintained
• Performs network security monitoring and incident response for all networks and devices
• Records and responds to cybersecurity incidents
• Designs and implements security solutions on a global scale including property level controls
• Responsible for vulnerability management, compliance, network security, and intrusion prevention
• Assists with implementation of counter measures or mitigating controls
• Maintains Standard Operating Procedures related to Cybersecurity
• Records and responds to Cybersecurity incidents
• Test and identify vulnerabilities
• Implement HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR procedures
• Building monitoring and response systems for physical and on-premises assets
• Developing, maintaining, and auditing security and compliance policies
• Finding, tracking, and remediating software vulnerabilities
• Work with the DevOps team to secure coding practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Any and all related requests and projects from Supervisor

• Bachelor Degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience
• 8 + Years of Information Technology experience
• 5+ Years of full time information security related experience
• 3+ Years design and implementation of Layer2 and Layer 3 routing and switching
• Working Knowledge of application, cloud, and infrastructure security solutions (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Network Security, and Access Control)
• OSI model with experience in layers 1-7 and protocols
• Experience with penetration and vulnerability testing
• End point security policy management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Web application security
• 7x24 security alert management
• Work from home temporarily per CDC/Department of Health guidance.
