Their Information Security Defense organization is looking for a skilled technical writer to support the documentation of the systems and technologies that power their defensive capabilities.DescriptionWrite comprehensive documentation about the why and how of what we build to inform stakeholders at multiple levels within Apple.Curate a library of unstructured and structured data that describe the methodology and technology in use to help us gain better insights.Research new sources of data and the processes and documentation required to incorporate them into our systems.Write comprehensive documentation of the why and how of AIS detection and response capabilitiesCreate and maintain detailed Data Dictionary of datasets used by AIS Defense in the NextGen platformCurate and maintain the Detection Library as a reference library for AIS Defense stakeholders, using documentation generated in above work streams.Provide structured documentation templates for developers working with NextGen and AIS DefenseSupport ad-hoc engagements that benefit from detailed written deliverablesQualifications neededExperience in writing and structuring technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences,Knowledge of semi-structured data formats like Markdown, as well as structured data formats like JSON.Experience as a Researcher, Research Assistant, or a background in Library Sciences is a bonus, but not required.
