Project Manager

Business Enterprize Inc. is looking for a Senior Project Manager for one of our client's in Sacramento, CA.

• Professional project management accreditation/certification, such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Current and in good standing (proof of certification must be included with response).
• Our Client will accept the following project management accreditation/certification equivalent: Three (3) years of experience on projects utilizing Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards and processes, or three (3) years of experience on projects utilizing Systems Development Life Cycles (SDLCs) as this applies to large-scale computer system design and/or implementation.
• (Three consecutive years within the last five years) Lead role in the development, implementation, and ongoing management of health information and interoperability programs, policies, and procedures for federally regulated health payers.
• (Three consecutive years within the last five years) Lead role in reviewing, assessing, and interpreting federal regulations pertaining to health information management practices, such as HIPAA Administrative Simplification; 42 CFR Part 2; CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule; ONC Cures Act Final Rule; etc.
• (Three consecutive years within the last five years) Experience applying federal health information management or interoperability regulations to information technology (IT) systems, or equivalent experience verifying IT system compliance with federal regulations through testing and analysis.
• (Two consecutive years within the last five years) Experience leading or participating in projects that were federally funded through the Advance Planning Document (APD) process.
• (One year within the last five years) Use of, or familiarity with, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) specifications.

• Additional years of experience beyond the mandatory minimum qualifications listed above.
• Membership or participation in national workgroups for the advancement of health information and interoperability standards.
• Experience with State of California programs and organizations, or other similar government experience.
• Knowledge of formal State of California policy/guidance regarding the correct handling, use, and exchange of health information, including but not limited to the Statewide Health Information Policy Manual (SHIPM) and the State Health Information Guidance (SHIG).
• Experience as a principal author of a Planning or Implementation APD.
• Experience with State of California project controls, such as the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) or California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF).
