Senior Java Engineer/AWS/RabbitMQ

A software driven background check company, located in Orange County (Irvine) is currently looking to bring on a Senior Java Engineer for a full time role. You'll develop in Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices, RabbitMQ and AWS. You'll work on a smaller onsite and mid sized offshore team and do 80% backend development and 20% front end development for their highly data driven platform. This platform is highly scalable and they're looking for someone who can work on high traffic, messaging queues. They're also working with some of the largest companies around the world and the platform is high visibility and manages large amounts of data. They're also looking for an engineer who has strong object oriented programming experience and is strong with algorithms. This full time role comes a bonus, 401K matching, paid time off, flexible hours, and a very short growth path into leadership. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development using Spring Framework
• RESTful API experience (Microservices preferred)
• Core Java or J2EE
• Docker, Ansible, Jenkins a plus
• AWS (SQS/SNS is a plus)
• Messaging queue plus (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ)
