Job Title: Helpdesk Level 2

Job Description:Troubleshoot desktop operating system, application errors and PC hardware issues. Troubleshoot minor server-hardware issues. Manage trouble tickets from inception to closing, includes tracking resolution progress and updating customers on ticket status. Provide OS and database maintenance. Set up and maintain user desktop environments; relocate and set up peripherals as may be required. Order, inventory, and return IT parts and equipment as needed. Maintain printers; troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills:
  • Review 3rd party software (Engineering) and verify if supports Windows 10. If not, what is the upgrade path
  • Help with 3rd party software vendors and what versions support Windows 10. Figure out how the new version works with the NTS Testing equipment
  • Work with NTS Testing Engineers to confirm Windows 10 and new 3rd party software works and is configured correctly
  • Assess the Hardware inventory and confirm what hardware supports windows 10 upgrade
  • Help with budget for computers that don’t support the windows 10 upgrades
  • Build Golden Image on our Auto-Pilot to be used companywide going forward.
  • Confirm hardware has TPM 1.2-2.0
