Senior Java Engineer / Microservices

A major healthcare provider is looking for a strong Java developer to join the team at their headquarters in Irvine. This is a senior level position, and the ideal candidate will come in ready to lead. Our client is looking for a candidate with fresh ideas as they start a new venture to differentiate themselves from the competition. The right person for this job will be an expert with Java and Microservice architecture. This job also requires strong knowledge of Spring. This is a permanent position, with the ability to pay up to 145k based on experience. Culturally, this candidate should have a long-term mentality, and be excited to learn and grow with a company. Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of Java development experience
• Expert level knowledge of the Spring Suite (especially SpringBoot)
• Heavy experience with Microservices
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Experience in an AWS environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Master's in Computer Science or related field
