RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of an Assistant Manager of Network & Telecom in Anaheim, CA.Key Tasks: Provides support expertise for efficient operation and enhancements to the networking and telecom environment across the enterprise Will have lead responsibility for managing projects and services for the corporate WAN/LAN, including designing, implementing, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices Propose system designs, network upgrades, and implement solutions for Client and customer facing environments Provides application support for the contact center infrastructure (Avaya PBX, ACS, and voice recording/routing systems), video conferencing systems and support of users in remote locations utilizing VPN and other remote access technologies Supervises team member work, manages vendor contracts, track costs, asset inventory Supervises Network and Telecom staff, manages work orders, projects, and resolves issues and outages Deploying, upgrading, securing, changes to Cisco routers, Brocade Switches and VPN devices at branches and sites Troubleshoots and responsible for overall services levels for the network including connectivity, bandwidth, and quality of service problems Opens tickets with vendors and service providers for equipment and circuit issues Monitors and manages team activity on projects and during upgrades or maintenance Manages vendor contracts, ordering equipment and planning upgrades across the enterprise Monitors network connectivity to branches, ATMs, and hosted clients Supports users and handles escalations related issues with networking and telecom systems Establishes router connectivity with VPN and MPLS links to customers and company sites Provides support for Avaya PBX and related applications supporting the MCC Provides support on fiber channel switches and all flash storage systemsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience is required 6-8+ years of experience in networking and telecom support 2+ years of experience leading/supervising a team and managing large projects for complex networks Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of moderately complex systems, including experience with EIGRP, F5, Palo Alto, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VPN, IDS, IPS, TACACS, RSA CISCO networking experience required Palo Alto firewall experience is required Should have experience with different technologies such as Avaya, EMC, and Symitar systems Should demonstrate the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines, give direction to teams, while being a working member of the team and a team player Must have strong Project Management skills/ability to drive networking/telecom projects to completion/implementation/maintenance/support Must have excellent communication and people skills and be comfortable interfacing w/internal and external customers Strong network administration (working w/switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) and telecom experience/background Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred Avaya Certified Engineer or Call Center Certifications preferredKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
