Assist Restaurant Mgr with good attitude and experience
5 days a week 10 to 12 hours a day
This is a Hands-on position
Must be able to oversee complete front of house operation especially during service
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of Food & Beverage operations, including scheduling team members and service. He/she is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and remain on the floor while keeping quality consistently high.
Approach all encounters with guests and team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Manage the labor costs of the front of house while ensuring service excellence.
Maintain high standards of service by developing the team to follow all service standards
Manage recruitment, coaching and corrective action process
Supervise all team members.
Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
Monitor quality of service in the restaurant
Assist in menu planning and preparation.
Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
Skills and Experience (Essential)
At least 1-3 years in food and beverage supervisory or managerial position
Intermediate computer skills
Possess a good command of the English language and ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, both in person and by telephone
Strong Food and Beverage knowledge
