Medical Assistant - Front and Back Office Openings

PRIMARY CARE OFFICE HAS IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

Our Primary Care practice in Northeast Phoenix area has an immediate opening for a dynamic Medical Assistant for our busy office. You will be part of a team who works together to deliver exceptional patient care. Candidate must be a self-starter who has excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and someone who can multi-task and work independently. Must be able to work efficiently and pay close attention to details.

Front Office Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a self-starter with excellent people skills, who can multi-task and work independently. Must have excellent phone skills, a can-do attitude, and excellent computer skills.

Duties will include but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, checking in and checking out patients, and assisting front office staff with any other duties related to providing exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Must be familiar with insurance plans, eligibility, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance.

Computer and EMR proficiency.

Ability to multi-task and act calmly in busy or stressful situations.

Past experience working as a front office medical receptionist is a plus, but we will train.

Back Office Medical Assistant

Duties will include but are not limited to obtaining prior authorizations, processing prescription refills, referrals, rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting providers throughout the day. In addition, will talk to patients over the phone to review test results, scheduling appointments, and answer any medical related questions the patient may have.

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.

Computer and EMR proficiency and ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Ability to accurately record information.

Prior experience working as a medical assistant with direct patient care is a must.

MA certification required.
