- You hold a MS or PhD degree in computational sciences with a strong background in immunology or biology, or vice versa.
- You have good knowledge and understanding of data science approaches including machine and deep learning; application in imaging domain (H&Es, IHC, radiomics) a plus.
- You have applied experience in clinical trials in the oncology setting.
- You have good programming skills (R, Java, Python, etc) and are experienced in using relational databases as well as cloud services for storage and computing (AWS-S3, etc).
- You have a strong knowledge and practical experiences with high density data types in a clinical setting (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, flow cytometry, TCR sequencing, immune assays, etc).
- You have built web-based analysis applications (R-Shiny).
- You have worked with regulated environments such as GxPP/GMP when working with tools and databases.
- Published in high quality journals, references, and external presentations.
- You have a 'getting things done' mentality, you are creative, pro-active, enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinking and goal orientated.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse and global group of scientists, research associates

- The Role:As a Senior Scientist, you will work with a multidisciplinary international team of world-class scientists to transform how therapeutics are discovered and developed in the oncology space with a primary goal of serving cancer patients that continue to suffer from unmet medical needs. Responsibilities:
- You will contribute to several clinical development programs to help identify appropriate biomarkers, mechanisms of action, and new indications using cutting-edge data science tools.
- You will derive new insights from the integration and analysis of clinical response, tumor transcriptomic/genetic data as well as imaging and circulating biomarkers to help advance the development of Client drug candidates.
- You will help design, expansion, and maintenance of internal data curation and analysis pipelines.
- You will work seamlessly with colleagues from Translational Research and Clinical Development to translate questions into data requirements, computational workflows, and intuitive summaries/visualizations.
- You will continue to stay up to date on the latest relevant scientific literature and translate your learnings into evolving best practices in data science at Genmab.
- You will report scientific results in patents, publications, regulatory documents and product-development reports.
