The role of Guest Services is to be the face of the organization and generate interest and enthusiasm in our tours. Guest Services is responsible for ticket sales, answering customer inquiries and organizing the boarding process.

Objective & Purpose

- Sell Tickets

- Provide customer support at the ticket booth as well as on the phone

- Customer management: waitlist, standby tickets, and cancellation communications

- Ensure safe and efficient customer boarding experience

Core Roles & Responsibilities

- Open ticket booth and count petty cash drawer

- Update white board with the upcoming trip schedule

- Proactively sell tickets and answer any questions customers may have

- Organize standby and waitlist and enforce boarding policy for these tickets

- Work with tour groups to ensure safe and efficient boarding

- Direct guests to the proper boarding location and frequently survey line to ensure guests are in the right location

- Communicate last-minute sales and late arrivals with the Captain prior to departure

- In the event of a cruise cancellation, organize rebooking or to process refunds

- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized ticket booth

- Count cash at the end of the day and close the ticket booth

- Being a positive, friendly resource for our guests!
