Content Strategist II

Location: Mountain View, CA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Content Strategist II Your responsibilities:- Evaluate English-language ebooks for story quality, age appropriateness, visual design, ebook display and functionality, and spelling/grammar against a ratings rubric for a content offering.- Coordinate evaluations of ebook content in other languages; update existing training materials as needed. Update content evaluation rubrics and training materials as needed, aligning with other teams' efforts- Interact with book publishers, external production vendors, external evaluation vendors, and internal approvers along every step of the content production flow- Create a schedule and progress reports to ensure that books are launched within expected timelinesMandatory:- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, Developmental Psychology, or related field- At least 3 years of relevant experience in media production, communications, children's book publishing, children's bookselling, or equivalent- Ability to conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis of content- Knowledge of kids' media landscape & developmental considerations- Experience evaluating content for children- Comfortable with technology (e.g. tablets, Google Play Store, online video calls) and proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar- A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced, changing environment- Excellent project manager and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same timeDesired:- Experience with EPUB production including media overlay.- Experience working directly with children in classrooms and/or in educational settings or engaging with child-related research projects.- Fluency in any of these languages is not required but a plus: Spanish (for Latin America), Portuguese (for Brazil), Indonesian, Arabic, Japanese.Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
