LAB Technician III

Lab Technician IIIMaplewood-12+mths$24.00-$25.00 hr. Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Lab Tech III for a well known client in their Maplewood Facility. You will be working in their Rapid Prototyping Center:Job DescriptionWorker performs software preprocessing, 3D Printing, hands-on post-processing, and final inspection of prototype parts used for the development of new technologies and products.

• Uses CAD and similar software to update files and convert files to .stl and .dxf files from native CAD files.
• Provides post-processing support for Polyjet, FDM, MultiJet Fusion, and SLA additive manufacturing technologies using appropriate techniques to remove support material and excess resin from parts.
• Programs and operates laser cutter. Assists with receiving, scheduling, and updating job statuses in online request system.
• Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and/or specific training in additive manufacturing are required.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.
