The ideal Senior Communications Specialist must be a strong copywriter with solid interpersonal and project management skills, along with ample creativity.The Senior Communications Specialist will be charged with writing/editing/proofreading, content for corporate communications (e.g., memos, publications, internet/intranet sites, posters, brochures, annual reports, news letters, and other documents), while also implementing marketing communication campaigns, providing communication consulting, and supporting special events.REQUIRED: - Bachelor's Degree- 8+ years of experience in marketing, corporate communication, public relations or advertising- 10+ years of experience in marketing, corporate communication, public relations or advertising- Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel - A working knowledge of InDesign- Experience with style guides, particularly the AP Stylebook preferred- Experience in electric utilities is helpful, as is a background in human resources/benefit educationThis is a 40 hour a week, full-time opportunity.Submit resume (and samples if applicable) to:
