RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a top firm in search for a Network & System Engineer in either location (Nampa, Idaho or Traverse City, Michigan). The Network & System Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, systems, video, and wireless network services. The candidate will participate to the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of all network hardware, servers, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve any IT complex problems escalated to him in a timely and accurate fashion. They will be part of the Engineers community to foster collaboration about continuous improvement of our systems and to drive innovative IT solutions. Level 2 Support & Manage Systems/Networks: Support and maintain technologies Infrastructure across United State and Canada (4 sites) according to group standards (Incidents & Requests) thanks to frequents trips on sites Work on advanced administration support (switch, firewall, VMware, phone), infrastructure changes and problem resolution Troubleshoot & patch IT infrastructure components Provide support to the IT Technician team (1 per site) Execute complex tasks and requests in respect of company SLA Participate in managing security solutions in cooperation with Security team. Monitor systems and network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades Work on major infrastructure change Manages his own projects in a way to deliver a result on time with a high level of quality Take part in some analysis and evaluation of vendor supplied software and hardware products Deploy/upgrade company LANs including routers/switches, servers, and other hardware Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors. Interact with IS Project Manager and US plant engineer teams Interact with group IT Cyber-Security Team, local IT techniciansREQUIREMENTS: Cisco CCNA or CCNP are highly desired 5 to 7 years relevant experience in a support, design & implementation role on supporting a virtual and physical network and system infrastructure for a multi-sites enterprise Experience in managing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure in LAN/WAN environment with expertise in Routers, Switches, and Firewalls Senior level network design and administrative capabilities within a manufacturing organization are essential Firewall advanced configuration (Forcepoint would be a plus) Advanced system and server configuration Good knowledge of global carriers and service providers Should have a high degree of competency in technical areas: Networking Protocols/Services BGP, OSPF, IPSec, GRE, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, MPLS, VPLS, QoS, Multicast, STP, 10GigE, GigE, 10/100 Ethernet, T1, DS3, GTM, LTM, DNS, Application Firewalls, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS, Meraki, Crowdstrike, VMware, backup solutions (Commvault), MS servers, DHCP, DNS, GPO. Project Management, Adequate project management skills and ability to manage time and complex tasks Must have documentation skills Active in pursuing learning opportunities Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with highly complex technical problems Experience with direct customer interaction with the client as a technology partner Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnelKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
