One of our clients in the Birmingham area is looking for an I.T. person to help with a return to office initiative. This role will be 100% remote. Additional details are listed below.Description:Provides quality technical end user support for internal employees. • Receives, responds to and logs support calls from all areas of the company via the Technical Support Center ACD line, email or through the web. • Troubleshoots and restores routine technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying and diagnosing faults and symptoms using remote control tool and established processes and procedures. Works to analyze and resolve the problem as quickly as possible or escalates to the appropriate team to ensure timely resolution.• Strives to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction by maintaining a high percentage of first call resolution.• Works in a team environment and consults co-workers and procedures to optimize problem resolution. Assists other team members as needed. Assists with documenting technical processes and procedures utilized by the team and its customers.• Logs, documents and closes customer incidents/requests through call tracking software and in accordance with established procedures.• Communicates effectively with customers, technical experts and all levels of management.• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours to accomplish work assignments. Ability and willingness to work on-call responsibilities, including nights and weekends.• Performs other IT duties as assigned by management.Skills:Support, Service desk, Help desk, Customer service, Windows, Windows 10, Troubleshooting, Windows 7, Office 365, Technical supportTop Skills Details:Work Experience, Education, Certification/Training Required:• Minimum of 1-3 years of professional, technical, or customer support experience in a corporate environment supporting hardware and software for at least 500 users both remotely and desk side.• 1-3 years' experience supporting:o Windows 7, 8 and 10 desktop operating systems, MS Office 2010 and higher.o Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, smart phoneso Printers, scanners, copiers, and other peripherals in WAN/LAN/WLAN environment.• BA/BS in a related field preferred or equivalent experience• Experienced with LAN, WAN / VDI, Citrix and Cloud environments• Experienced with the installation, repair and replacement of desktop computers.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:• Has a strong customer service orientation and desire to embrace technology as a means of improving service.• Excellent customer service skills• Excellent skills with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office. • Project management or working in a project-oriented environment• Ability to think outside of the box• Self-starter• Excellent oral and written communications skills• Attention to detail• Ability to multi-taskExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
