Location: This position will be based in Atlanta, GA but will require significant travel of up to 50% of the time.We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between the applicable business units and the IT application team(s). Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting workflows and processes, and performing user acceptance testing. You will be expected to leverage your technical & functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing basic systems. You may also define requirements for creating and managing RFP’s for software selection. You will have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business function and the IT needs of that business unit. You will act as the primary liaison to gather business specifications and requirements and to assist in defining the IT technical requirements. You will be the primary contact to IT for that business unit's needs that are complex in nature. Strong knowledge and experience in ERP systems (NetSuite) required and experience with logistics and warehouse management systems a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, construct workflow charts and diagrams, develop and implement solutions, and write specifications.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies including writing new and improved procedures and processes.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Perform requirements analysis.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports including sharing ideas and findings.
  • Work closely with business functional owners, subject matter experts, IT technical teams, and managerial staff.
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, form project team and establish project budget.
  • Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiency.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Define and perform user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and provide training to users.
  • Responsible for preparing technical reports by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing information and trends. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Review information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems, using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering.

Qualifications and Desired Skills/Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
  • Minimum 5+ years of previous BA experience working with a software development team, including experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, gathering and documenting project requirements/specifications and deploying applications.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical and documentation skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing top performing teams and successful projects.
