Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Network Engineer in East Hartford, CT.REQUIREMENTS: B.S., B.A., or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting enterprise LANs and WLANs in large-scale heterogeneous environments Possess networking-related certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCDA, etc.) Experience with ITIL processes execution (Incident, Change, Problem, Event/Fault, etc.) in an IT Service Management ecosystem Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise networking in large-scale heterogeneous environments Working in highly regulated environments History with Cisco and AT&T networking technologies and equipment Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco and IOS Knowledge of networking hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls Familiarity with communication and routing protocols Familiarity with network management and analysis tools Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration skills Technical analysis and problem-solving skills Effective written and oral communication skills Advanced knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies, products and operating systems including Cisco and IOSKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
