Microsoft Dynamics Developer

6 month contract with a possibility for extension, will be revisited at the 6 month mark to determine extension. Open to out of state resources as this will be a remote position, out of state resources do not need to come onsite or relocate. If resource is local there may be times they are requested to come on site when it is safe to do so.3 positions available, 3 bid slots available. (Only 1 bid per open position)As the Microsoft Dynamics Developer, you will play a crucial role in the continued development and operational support of our new Child Welfare System utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, as well as customizations including CRM, AR, AP, GL, Inventory, and Warehouse. Additionally, you will be responsible for development of enhancements, customizations, forms, reports, and interfaces within and related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE system and related components. You will interpret functional and business requirements and develop necessary deliverables following implementation best practices. You will also work as an integral part of the IT team in close collaboration with the functional teams to produce the best possible solutions to support company's business objectives.Essential Responsibilities:• Play a significant role in the implementation and configuration of Dynamics 365 CE and related components, customizing the product to meet the specific business need of AZDCS• Position will focus on the Financial side in Dynamics 365 CE. • Analyzing and understanding business requirements and translating those to deliverable customizations• Develops solutions to address complex and challenging business opportunities. Integrating data, creating and modifying user interfaces, automating processes and streamlining operations• Ability to write test plans and complete repeatable test scenarios to support validation of business requirements; responsible for maintaining test and development initiatives• Participates in technical design and code review, development, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance of new application development initiatives, including enhancements to existing applications• Identify and escalate issues and risks affecting system performance to IT leaders in a timely manner• Follow coding standards and best practices• Create and follow timelines associated with projects• Stay current on development techniques, tools and technologies related to job• Communicate project status(s) within IT and to supervisor• Ability to work and collaborate within a team as well as communicate with global IT team and internal business community as applicable• Other duties as assignedQualifications:• Minimum of five years of experience as a software developer and with Dynamics 365 and its predecessors• Possesses full understanding and direct experience with full life-cycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365• Microsoft Certifications preferred• Excellent communications skills both written and oral• Solid organizational skills and focus on attention to detail• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure high quality deliverables• Strong analytical skills and business acumen• Strong technical knowledge of Financial development• Excellent understanding of the software development cycle
