We are seeking an experienced

Enterprise Architect to provide advisory support to determine the most appropriate EA framework(s) to use in our environment; Document EA practice, including the charter, processes, governance, and supporting procedures; Document the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process and facilitate meeting as directed.

Position Responsibilities;
  • Participates in the process to evaluate, develop, implement the

    Enterprise Architecture program.
  • Advise the technology managers on roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Assists in the creation of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Helps develop the architectural governance processes for the team.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and facilitation of the architecture review board.
  • Aggregates the current enterprise continuum of knowledge (applications, infrastructure, capabilities, people, and data,) and makes technology/process recommendations on how to manage it.
  • May advise on or lead architectural reviews and evaluations.
  • Works with business relations, delivery team leads, and business leaders, when needed, to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology tradeoffs influence strategy and to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Provides a weekly status report to the documenting concerns, issues, risks, and progress of assigned work.

Position Requirements;
  • A minimum of seven years of specific work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, Agile, and infrastructure planning and operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with

    Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), TOGAF is preferred.
  • Ability to drive consensus in complex matters involving diverse stakeholders where there may be varying points of view.
  • Simultaneously works on several complex assignments requiring analysis of intricately related complex variables.
  • Experience with information security, privacy, and risk assessment standards including

    FISMA, SOX, FedRAMP, etc. is preferred.
  • Possess clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical contacts, business customers, and senior management.
  • Demonstrated experience in data architecture, modeling, integration, design, and quality engineering to implement various data strategy components.
  • Related industry certification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
