Job Title:Logistics Leader - Pharmaceuticals SNFIJP00004117Location :Waltham, MA ( onsite)Duration:7+ Months with possible extensionDuties: The Leader, Logistics, reporting into the Head of Global Supply Chain, will join a growing organization and will lead the Team that supports global logistics operations. Will own and manage daily logistics activities including transportation, cold chain, inventory logistics systems, and lead/participate on critical projects. The role is based in a highly sensitive, fast paced environment, demanding flexibility and accuracy. This role will have the opportunity to evolve the function and advance overall logistics capabilities to deliver life-changing medicines globally.

Responsibilities: Meet department goals and objectives for on-time delivery and financial performance;Partner with key stakeholders in Supply Chain, External Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Clinical, and Commercial on critical projects, product/country launches, and integration activities;Manage Cold Chain activities including packaging and shipping lane qualification;Establish/improve processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions;Provide leadership to help the Logistics Team develop skills and meet goals;Complete daily operations in compliance with all International/Federal/State regulations;Act as the lead representative in customs audits, inspections, and regulatory agency inquiries;Coordinate all global transportation for movement of drug substance, drug product, finished goods, and related ancillary products;Evaluate and monitor freight carriers’ performance;Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations;Ensure all required inventory transactions are accurately performed in the ERP system;Collect, analyze and report data to create meaningful metrics and KPI’s;Business conditions may require additional task and responsibilities;

Requirements: Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related life science industryCold Chain experienceMust have global operations experience, import/export operations, working knowledge of regulatory, licensing, and operating requirements in a global marketExperience with ERP and logistics systemsProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong project management skills with ability to lead multiple projects

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or other related fieldMaster’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications: 8+ years in Logistics Management with at least 3+ years in a management role5+ in Biopharmaceutical Industry or related Life-sciences industries
