Administrative Assistant
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant (PT 10-20 hours a week) to join our team. This position will provide high level support to the Owners and other staff members as needed. This position would be great for someone who can thrive with minimal direction and is able to see what needs to be done and takes the initiative to do it. You will be an integral partner and in some instances you may be the face and voice of the owner’s and the leadership team. There is a lot of room for growth with our businesses.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication, including taking calls, responding to emails/messages, and interfacing with clients
Prepare internal and external documents
Schedule meetings, appointments and manage any travel
Take notes, minutes of the meeting, help with creating agendas, tracking action items and follow-up
Research and preparing reports
Financial and bookkeeping tasks
Arrange events to take place outside of the workplace, such as advertising events, staff appreciation events, holiday parties, etc.
Create and maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Sustain a high level of professionalism among staff and clients

This entity has a business manager in place who manages the majority of the businesses aspects. The business has experience significant growth in the last five years and is expected to grow even more over the next five years.
Communication Pathways LLC: Created in 2011 Communication Pathways LLC provides education to individuals, couples, families and business entities on effective communication skills to enhance their personal and professional live. This business provides motivational speaking for groups small and large. This entity also provides training to entities in the field of substance use disorders. He has extensive education, professional experience, and lived experience in this field. Current work is through contracts with entities in the county providing education in the substance use disorder arena. There is expected growth with this entity over the next five years providing education in this area.
Sunflower Preschool LLC: Created in 2020 Sunflower Preschool is a private preschool providing education for children between the ages of 3-5. There is an owner/lead teacher who manages the day to day functions at the preschool. A business manager manages the business side of the school. This company is expected to see growth over the next five years and plans are to open more locations due to a high demand in the area for preschools.

Qualifications:
An intern may be considered if they meet the characteristics listed and are in their senior year (preference to someone who will be staying in the area)
A bachelor’s degree & 2+ years as an Administrative/Executive Assistant. Years of experience can be exchanged for degree requirement
Microsoft Office skills with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software and having an overall strong set of skills on a computer and with apps
Proficiently in collaboration and delegation of duties
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities

Compensation:
Pay is $16-18 an hour depending on qualifications. This position does not currently offer benefits but the future growth of this position and the positions holds the strong possibility for more hours and the possible addition of benefits.
