Road Side Mechanic Assistant

Job Description:

Atomic Transport is a bulk wasting hauling company, specializing in Municipal Solid Waste. We are contracted by collection companies such as Santek, Waste Connections, and Republic to haul garbage from transfer station to landfill. We are currently hiring a Roadside Mechanic Assistant to help keep us on the road!

Requirements:

Experience working with basic tractor-trailer repairs and preventative maintenance

Experience in tire repairs (mounting, changing, etc.)

Ability to work with multiple vendors in a shop setting

Perform basic inspections

Make road calls as needed

Class A CDL

Having own tools is preferred

Schedule:

Weekdays, Monday - Friday

50 hours/week

Some half-day Saturdays as needed

$17 - $18 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
