INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONTRACT AND BUDGET SPECIALIST 1

Location: Temporarily working remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic; with an anticipated transition back into our Johns Creek office in late Spring 2021

Reports To: Vice President of Information Technology Services

Why Us, Why Now?As the

Information Technology Contract and Budget Specialist I, you will play a direct role in procurement, negotiating contracts with IT service providers, managing the contract lifecycle, and assessing organizational technology needs. You will have an understanding and help coordinate the day-to-day operations for a team that is developing next-generation technologies based on innovative platforms that change how thousands of users connect, explore, and interact with information and our organization. You will bring fresh ideas for being more efficient processes and practices across the IT organization while developing working relationships with other business units.

How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
  • Create and review IT policies and procedures, keeping process optimization in mind.
  • Execute third-party software procurement, agreement negotiations, inventory, license assignment, billing, and renewal processes. Monitor and maintain proper supplier files.
  • Create monthly reports to communicate metrics and Service Level Agreements to business units and clients. Facilitate meetings with IT, business unit and client stakeholders.
  • Process weekly invoices and receipts and resolve incorrect billing with business units and the Finance department. Interface with Finance department to analyze monthly timecard reports to ensure proper accurate and consistent tracking and accountability from project team resources.
  • Work closely with Senior IT Operations staff to develop and monitor capital and operational IT budgets. Reconcile budgets monthly and report status to Senior IT Operations staff.
  • Assist IT project management personnel with monitoring the IT project management system, ensuring that business facing dashboards depict accurate information and following-up on tasks with IT, business units, and clients as needed.
  • Anticipate and communicate project changes and update roadmap and budget related documents. Complete IT project initiation and completion tasks for numerous IT projects.

Hard Skills You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or similar field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working in Information Technology.
  • At least 1 year of budgeting experience.
  • At least 1 year of Project Management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Your proven ability to manage competing priorities and accomplishing tasks within the agreed upon timeframe.

Extra Skills You Can Bring Along
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft SharePoint and/or project management software solutions.
  • Experience with IT procurement and contract negotiation.
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants business knowledge or familiarity.
