Responsibilities:

General Purpose - Under the direction Performance Coach the Sr. Administrative Specialist provides either administrative support for a designated practice group or service line. Frequently performs chargeable client work and provides on an on-going basis back-up and support for other administrative positions in the Business Solutions team to ensure efficient flow of work, and timely delivery to meet internal associate needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, proof, edit, and electronic storage of documents including but not limited to: proposals and RFP responses, engagement letters, subcontractor documents, Confidentiality Agreements as requested, ensuring timeliness.

  • Assist with coordination of seminars and group presentations, to include handling reservations, travel arrangements, food services on occasion

  • Provide proactive support to both the Organizational Performance and Technology Consulting Service Lines to ensure deadlines are met, while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.

  • Produce high quality work in compliance with work processing guidelines and firm standards, including proofreading and report compilations. Follow-up proactively as necessary.

  • Seeks out opportunities for continuous process improvement.

  • Develop and demonstrate a general knowledge of the firm’s products and services.

  • Communicate proactively with associates and clients.

  • Prioritize deadlines as necessary.

  • Assist in the assembly of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Assist other administrative staff with overflow work.

  • Work independently and collaboratively with the Operations Administrative team

  • Electronic document storage

  • Submitting firm expenses for payment

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma and an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Prefer an Associate Degree in Administrative Support, Business Administration, Human Resources, and/or Information Technology

  • Requires three to five years of job-related or volunteer experience in an administrative supporting role in a professional work environment
  • Requires expert experience in utilizing Microsoft Word & Outlook and intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in any of the following areas: Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations, Financial Software Implementation, custom software, Microsoft SharePoint

  • Experience working/volunteering in a specific industry (non-profit, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, financial institutions)

  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills and accurate grammar usage

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills preferred

Abilities:

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively

  • Ability to balance many projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines

  • Ability to learn and apply learning of multiple software applications

  • Ability to read for context and edit to improve understanding

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of associates while maintaining a positive attitude towards work, the team and the firm

  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to be flexible with scheduling to meet workflow demands

Work Relationship and Scope:

  • Position will report to Performance Coach/Operations Manager for Business Solutions

  • Position will be assigned a Peer Advisor to help guide in new role
  • Position will support a variety of associates from Partners to Consultants

Working Conditions:

  • Work is generally performed in office

  • Position will work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime required on short notice.
