ABOUT YOU

As a senior member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for managing all of the accounting needs (further details below) for a portfolio of clients. These clients will view you as their dedicated accounting partner and will rely on you to pick-up-the-phone and help them understand the numbers, solve problems and ensure they have accurate and timely financial information.

Skills & Attributes

- Strong proficiency in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping

- Demonstrates a passion for bookkeeping, client servicing and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently as well as lead and collaborate with others

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills.

Essential / Required Experience

- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience required (10+ years if no BS)

- Experience serving multiple clients

- Proficient in Excel, Sage 50, QuickBooks, R365

Preferred / Favorable Experience

- BA or BS in Accounting or similar field

- Peachtree experience a plus

- Restaurant and/or franchise accounting experience preferred

ABOUT THIS ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of the Company’s clients. You provide high quality client service by performing the following activities:

- Prepare and review accurate monthly and annual income and other financial statements inline with agreed deadlines.

- Identify data quality issues and errors, investigate data discrepancies and resolve or escalate to ensure data accuracy.

- Perform monthly account and bank statement reconciliations.

- Review general ledger accounts monthly and make monthly accruals, adjustments and journal entries.

- Support accurate chart of accounts mapping.

- Manage client relationships, deadlines, expectations and correspondence to ensure timely and accurate accounting service delivery as well as exceptional client service experience.

- Perform other accounting activities as required.
