Job Description:
Looking for an outgoing, organized individual to work part/full time in an upscale, home consignment furnishings store in Truckee. Hours will include some weekends.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable and passionate about furnishings and home decor
Some home decorating experience a plus, but not required
Some understanding of POS systems and transacting sales (will train)
Previous retail experience a plus!
Reliability is essential.
Duties:
Greeting and helping customers with questions regarding furnishings and decor items
Become knowledgeable about items in store
Process sales transactions through POS system
Check-in consignment items into system as required
Other daily responsibilities also include:
Maintaining clean environment, organizing furnishings and moving items
Should be able to lift 50 lbs.
$18.00 w/experience. Plus terrific discounts on furnishings!
