Maintenance Tech

Weiss Properties is seeking experienced individuals to fill a Maintenance Technician position for the property management industry. We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Maintenance Tech.

Job Description

Maintenance Tech will work with our Lead Tech and will assist in common areas as well as apartments cleaning and repairs.

This position reports to the Lead Tech and Property Manager and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

General Job Duties

Plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair

Change bulbs, locks/key, batteries, etc.

Must be able to assist with installing and repairing appliances

Exterior/ Interior painting and caulking, light drywall repair

Ability to physically manage painting, pressure washing and blower

Able to frequently walk the property and report any liability problems immediately.

Assist in custodial and grounds work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc.

Job Requirements

2+ years Residential Property Management Maintenance & Repair experience

Ability to handle physical workload

Attend and assist at company events

Have dependable transportation to and from work

"On call" periodically.

Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability

Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed

Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and residents
