DRIVER-Valet Parking Attendant - to work inVerona, NY. Weare looking for part-time employees to work flexible hours in the evening. We are seeking staff members that are available for 2-3 shifts per week, within the range of 4pm-2am. Some flexibility is available, but the ideal candidate will be available most evenings, while getting scheduled for 2-3 shifts/week. Starting part time and moving to full time as shifts become available is also an option.

Base pay is $12.50/hour, and valets typically earn more than $6-8/hour in tips. Average combined earnings can exceed $18-20/hour. Great part time or full time role, with a variety of hours available and flexible schedules!

Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management

Have your own transportation (driving experience)

Have experience working in customer service Must have a good driving record We require all employees to be clean shaven

Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Both written and verbal communication.

Duties and responsibilities

To maintain a professional image for our client establishment

To assist any and all patrons in any way we can

To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times

To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service

To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job

Physical demands

Standing at least 8 hours a day

Running up to 200 yards, 50 times a day or more

Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily

Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles)

Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.

We are seeking both full time and part time staff. Applicants with a background in customer service, hospitality, retail, transportation, and security often make a good fit for this position. We can accommodate day and night shift hours and are flexible with schedules where possible.
