Substitute Early Childhood Educator - Multiple Locations

Assist in providing care in center-based programs in Etowah, Transylvania, Henderson and/or Polk counties on an as needed basis.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the safety, health, and nutrition, toileting, and activities needs of young children.

Assists the regular teaching staff with implementing the children’s daily program, maintaining a balance of activities and orderly transitions, and making changes as required to meet the children’s needs.

Works with children in the classroom and on the playground.

Assists in keeping classrooms clean and neat and stocked with supplies.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Be available to work Monday through Friday (7:30am – 4:30pm) when needed. Shorter hours also available.

Ability to promptly receive, make and return early morning work calls from 6:30am to 7:00am.

Be willing to drive to the various locations where needed.

Keep a calendar with work dates and keep commitment to scheduled dates.

Perform other duties as assigned.
