Treasury Optimization and Merchant Processing Leader{United States, Remote} | Company Size: 501-1,000 We’re looking for a Treasury Optimization and Merchant Processing Leader with 10+ years of experience in Treasury Services at a bank for a great remote opportunity in the U.S.This position will partner with firm leaders to drive leads, qualify, and close from company’s client base. You will manage 8 independent contractor sales agents. Build and maintain bank relationships to bring new clients as opportunities arise. Provide a deep understanding of treasury functions at banks such that pricing optimization opportunities are discovered and negotiated. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow a treasury and merchant processing group. As the Treasury Optimization and Merchant Processing Leader, you will:Sales / Sales Operations:- Source leads externally (personal relationships)
- Manage independent contractor sales agents (8)
- Partner with firm leaders to drive leads, qualify and close from company’s client base
- Expand existing client relationships (PE groups to other port CO’s)
- Run all analysis on pricing
- Assist clients in sourcing new loan opportunities and bank RFPs for clients
- Build and maintain bank relationships to bring new clients as opportunities arise
- Deeply understand treasury function at banks such that pricing optimization opportunities are discovered and negotiated
- Leverage our analytics tool to determine pricing
- Merchant processing – tons of opportunity here, but a simpler sales experience desired, not required; can be taught
- Run webinars, digital campaigns – potentially in partnership with banks – to recruit new clients
- Build channel referral partnerships with other partner CPA firms and other associations as applicable to drive referrals
- Define go-to-market solutions and package offerings with other complimentary ones; create supporting collateral
- Add gateway partnerships
- Maintain relationships with merchant banks
- Develop Learning and Development training to a) educate others at the firm and b) create training materials to support the sales agents and operational resource(s)
- Build annual budget & goal setting, managing to success and completion on SMART goals
- Closely manage AR and ensure collections on accounts
- Participate in internal meetings, presentations, reporting, initiatives
- Grow the group of commissioned sales agents
- Hire an operational resource to manage day-to-day ops once volume warrants (customer support on merchant processing clients, for example)
- 15-20 years of experience in Treasury Services at a bank
- Banking product sales experience
- Financial services sales experience
- Book of client companies with no non-compete such that you can call on the leads
- Attention to detail / ability to manage a wide book of clients
- Experience in management of a sales team
- Experience in a professional services firm preferred, and at a partnership, ideal
