We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join ABC Party Rentals! This position assists customers by phone and in the showroom with rental contracts for any type of event. Small and large. Private, scholastic and corporate. Including weddings, corporate events, birthday and anniversary parties, etc.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers with rental orders via walk-in, phone and email with the following:
Generate client quotes and contracts
Process daily revenue, inventory and schedule reports
Regular ongoing client communication/inquiries via phone and email
Assist with marketing, website and social media postings
Confirm all contract items are in stock; purchase or sub rental items needed to complete
orders
Drafts, reviews, and proofreads office documents.
Confirm all delivery and pickups in advance - confirm dates, location, delivery times and items along with
pick up dates and times
Pull linens daily for contracts to ensure accuracy
Count linens to ensure all rentals were returned
Keep showroom in clean, presentable fashion
Update table displays to coordinate with upcoming season and events
Occasional errands as needed for office supplies and/or concessions
Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines, including printers, copiers, and fax.
Replenish paper
Attend annual wedding festival events and assist with set-up/tear down of display
Requirements:
1+ year of recent administrative, customer service, marketing and/or sales support experience is a must
Please be a customer-service minded and enjoy working with and engaging in assisting customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, phone etiquette required
Strong computer/typing skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Comfortable learning new rental software
Must be comfortable going upstairs for linens ordered and lift up to 20 pounds (not often)
We require a high school diploma or GED; college degree a plus, but not required
