Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle & UNIX Developer for a 6-month contract-to-hire role in Englewood, CO.This role will be located onsite in the south Denver area for a few days per week every week until June, when the role will transition to 5 days per week onsite.

This team focuses onmultiple projects for Oracle and UNIX custom applications. We are looking for someone who wants to work on new development and assist in some support issues as well. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Works hands-on and provides technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise information systems
  • Analyzes information system requirements, creates designs, and provides documentation by utilizing companyspecified tools and methodologies
  • Provides information system technology solutions by adhering to company-prescribedlife-cycle tools and methodologies
  • May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support, maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance, or simplify Network business processes
  • Understands and deciphers the code in quick time, analyzes business rules with a minimal amount of transition, makes recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with Oracle Database, in depth knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL (packages/procedures/triggers, etc…)
  • At least 3-4 years’ of hands on experience in UNIX/Linux shell scripts
  • At least 2 years’ of experience in AWS like Dynamo DB, ES2, S3, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk
  • Develop Oracle PL/SQL, and advanced database programming techniques
  • Experience in performance tuning is must
  • Develop and maintain complex queries
  • Should be strong in developing UNIX shell scripting for various applications
  • Experience with PGP encryption & SFTPis a plus
  • Experience in high volume data environments is a plus
  • Experience with Autosys and Control-M is a plus
  • Experience with delivering projects in agile environment using SCRUM; Experience in Rally is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Quick learner and understanding existing processes
  • Dynamic and proactive, with exceptional technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group/Working with peers and members of other departments (both business and IT) to successfully complete assigned projects; strong technical aptitude.

Additional Information

This 6 month contract tohire role will be located onsite in the south Denver area. Interviews can be conducted through video, however, the work will be performed onsite/in-buildingin the south Denver area 2-3 times per week and then will migrate to 5 days per week onsite starting June 1st.
