Job Description
We are seeking a QA Tester for a contract role in Atlanta, GA. This role will work a combination of onsite and remote in the downtown area. The first week will include 3 days in the office for training, the second week will include 2 days in the office for trainingand from the third week and on will be one day per week in the office. Due to this requirement, interested candidates who are local to Atlanta are highly encouraged to apply.
This role will be responsible forperforming all testing activities required to validate the portfolioofrelated business applications and interfaces in the portfolio. Additional responsibilities include:
- Analyzing business requirements and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform testing activities for Java, COBOL, CICS and batch programs on distributed platforms.
- Develop and adhere to standard Software Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Identify tests based on system specifications and/ or business needs and perform defect management activities.
- Identifying testing issues and risks and reporting it to the Testing Lead.
Qualifications
- Developing test plans, cases, and scenarios
- Experience with testing applications on distributed platforms
