Entry Level Senior Living Interior Designer

Summary:

Be be part of a collaborative team of the sales force, project managers, customer service and design staff that provides full-scale and partial design services to Senior Living facilities. The Basic American Medical Products® brand is a well-known long time brand in the senior living industry. The genesis of the brand is the durable extended care beds made in our Wisconsin manufacturing facility. Over the years, the company has grown by offering our in house design services to our customers at no additional cost.

• Assists interior designers with total concept planning for Senior Living Facilities
• Handles small scale jobs independently
• Maintains the design library in conjunction with local reps to verify all product is current
• Compiles all fabric flame certifications and provides them to the client
• Maintains and updates pricing matrices
• Work with the company’s internal sales force and Project Managers to implement design plans
• Attend national and regional tradeshows to promote the company in house design services.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent

· Three dimensional computer design experience

· Excellent interpersonal/communication/problem solving skills (both verbal and written)

· Organized and efficient multi-tasker with excellent time management skills
