Environmental Technician III

Job Description

We’re looking foranEnvironmental TechnicianIIIthat will share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families.  You will be responsibleto oversee large lab pack projects and jobs while managing a team of others.This jobrequires maintenance of records, accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction and to work independently once proper training provided.You’lloccasionally travel to our customer’s site to complete assignments.If you like to work in an environment where you are in constant motion with no time to get bored, this will be a great fit for you!  

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have ahigh schooldiploma or GEDand a minimum of 2 year’s lab packexperience, beforklift certified and have completed 40-hourOSHA Trainingcourse. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred qualifications area college degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science,Biology,or3 plusyears' experienceworking in arelatedfield,knowledgeofhazardousmaterialhandling,and the ability to oversee large projects and supervise personnel.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
