Job Description

Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Is responsible for the management and the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple enterprise wide projects. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades. Coordinates work performed by internal and external IT staff and internal customers/partners.

Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

  • Communicate clearly to stakeholders and customers both in writing and verbally specific test results, customer feedback, and any appropriate actions suggested
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customer
  • Mentor the continual development of others within the given project or department
  • Lead and advise others regarding quality control for specific projects or applications as assigned by management
  • Develop internal and external customer relationships that result in quality project deliveries
  • Lead and/or participate in training efforts for assigned projects
  • Proactively seek learning opportunities and stay current on new skills to bring benefit to the local program office and to projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
  • 5 years of IT project management experience
  • 2 years within an agile framework
