Job Description

  1. Supervise HQS Inspectors in the New Orleans area.
  2. Assist with inspector assessments, coordinating time off requests, and all other personnel issues.
  3. Coordinates with the Director of Field Operations in personnel and production issues.
  4. Primary day-to-day liaison between McCright, the PHA, and other vendors.
  5. Able to complete and troubleshoot all inspector technology operations associated with the inspections system.
  6. Develop, mentor, and train inspectors.
  7. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

  1. Ability to travel, if necessary.
  2. Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and managerial skills.
  3. Moderate to excellent computer ability.
  4. Current drivers license. Must be available to drive during all working hours.
  5. Have dependable transportation and maintain adequate automobile liability insurance on vehicle used to perform job if applicable.
  6. Knowledge of the general operations and procedures of a Public Housing Agency (PHA) and of local, state, and federal regulations governing subsidized housing programs.
  7. Proven proficiency of modern equipment including cell phones, fax machines, scanners, computers, tablets or other hand held devices, GPS, and printers.
  8. Prepare and present ideas in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in written form.
  9. Establish, maintain, and promote effective working relationships with departmental employees, co-workers, vendors, consultants, contractors, and landlords, and tenants.
  10. Display the ability to effectively communicate with people from a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds.
  11. Ability to work productively in a variety of working conditions and environments.

Additional Information

This position is salary plus production.BENEFITS- Dental and vision insurance is available for all level of inspectors. Inspectors classified as full-time will be eligible for paid vacation, employee health insurance, and nine paid holidays.
